With a long-term plan to revitalise the heart of Coburg, the Merri-bek city council needed a campaign that strengthened collaboration, encouraging locals to have a voice in shaping the area’s future.

We needed to create meaningful engagement that invited all voices to the table, building a shared vision that fostered connection, pride, and belonging.
Positioning Coburg as a place where every voice matters —
Our approach was rooted in the understanding that people resonate with what’s familiar. We used local language, inclusive visuals and iconic landmarks to reflect what makes Coburg, Coburg. This involved workshops with council representatives to ensure the messaging was inclusive and authentic to local dialects.
Using hyper-localised branding, we created assets that celebrated Coburg’s unique culture while inviting residents to participate. It gave us a framework that resonated and empowered locals to see themselves as a vital part of Coburg’s story.
