Creative Whitehorse offers a network of venues designed for arts, culture, business, and celebrations. Whitehorse City Council engaged us to develop a venue hire campaign, but we saw an opportunity to do more than promote spaces. We set out to shift perceptions and encourage the community to see these venues as vibrant hubs for creativity and connection.
A shift in perspective —
Creative Whitehorse’s venues were underutilised, with many in the community viewing them as simple rental spaces rather than dynamic environments for events, collaboration, and creativity. We needed to change that mindset, positioning them as places where ideas come to life.
“We wanted to do more than fill venues; this campaign redefined how the Whitehorse community engages with its creative spaces.”

A multi-channel approach —
We started with audience segmentation, using community insights to craft messaging that spoke directly to different demographics. A 12-week campaign blended digital and local marketing, structured in three phases: broad awareness, targeted engagement, and conversion-driven promotion.
A full-day photoshoot revitalised venue imagery, bringing fresh energy to Creative Whitehorse’s brand and amplifying its online presence.
